Galveston Bay Charters

Fishing in Galveston Bay is always fun, but sometimes it's more fun than others! Recently fishing for Reds has been just that-FUN! We have been fishing shallow water over shell and trolling protected grass-lined shorelines. We are fishing with gold spoons and various colors of Salt Water Assassins. No particular technique really, just reeling the lure just fast enough to prevent catching the infamous swimming oyster. The catching is consistent and the numbers are good, which is a pretty good formula for fun fishing. One thing that we were keying on was the activity of the bait fish, as their movement increased the bite increased. So, good luck and I'll talk to you when the wind slows down.
